Adam RobertsParticipant
Hi all,
I’m Adam. I’m from the UK and am 1 week into my stay in Australia. I am currently in Melbourne but am finding work a little harder to come by than I’d imagined. So, I am thinking of heading off to do some regional work.
Can anybody provide me with any advice of where to look for this work? From reading a few forum posts it sounds as if a lot of you guys are just getting in a car and looking the old fashioned way.
I’d happily join anyone setting off from Melbourne who’s in a similar situation to myself. I’m getting a bit fed up of staring at gumtree, seek and harvest trail all day every day.
Thanks,
Adam

If I can’t find somewhere around Caboolute I’ll be heading up to the Tully area to try and find work. If anyone is heading up that way around September time and needs a travel buddy shoot me an email.
Hayley LudemanParticipantHey Everyone! Me and My partner are looking for a farm to extend his 2nd year working holiday visa. We require 88 days of work and aren’t to fussed about the pay. He is from Italy and I am Australian.. If just he is needed for fruit picking I can double as a nanny and I am a diploma qualified Childcare worker with 4 years experience. My partner has worked on a peach farm before so he has some experience…
We are very excited to be apart of this website and hope that we can get some work.. Thanks everyone!
Ati Puspa IshakParticipantHi.
I’m a Malaysian girl currently studying at Monash University, Melbourne. It’s my first time looking for summer job (throughout December-February). I don’t have any experience but I’m willing to learn and I’m a fast learner. I don’t have any place to stay during summer, so a job with a nearby accommodation is preferable.
Thank you. :)
