    Hi just thought id make a post on how hard it is to find a fruit picking job or any sort of work to go toward my 2nd year visa. somebody please help me im in w.a. and able to get a flight anywhere anytime if i can be garanteed a job! im about to give up and go back to u.k. somebody help me please!

    Yes is it can be really hard some times to find fruit picking jobs, depending on seasons and location.

    When I wanted to extend my Working Holiday Visa back in 2008 (Long before communities like this and any source of online information about fruit picking). I ended up going to queensland with no information at all. Luckily I found an awesome French guy in a van :-) . Together we started our quest from Airlie beach to Bowen. After visiting various farms around the area for about a week, we got lucky.

    How many farmers have you been talking to so far Billy?
